Aegean Sea Getaway: Santorini Island
Neither words nor photographs can truly capture the natural beauty of this Greek island, but that hasn't stopped many from trying. Santorini has long been a honeymoon destination but is now becoming a destination for a wide variety of travelers who want to experience the beautiful terrain and sunsets firsthand.

The cities that we visited, Oia and Thira, are both nestled between the rocky coastline and the sea, offering panoramic views of the Aegean and the neighboring islands. There are active volcanos, a vibrant fishing area and lots of island art to appeal to your unique tastes.

Oia, the more picturesque city of the two, is a photographers wet dream, offering some of the most glorious sunsets you'll ever witness and a city sculpted into the mountainside with a meandering, labyrinthian design.

Santorini has a lot to offer every traveler so don't feel like you have to wait for your honeymoon to travel to this scenic destination.
