Party With A Purpose Presents..."The Cause Crawl"

Last Thursday I had the pleasure to attend a charity event that tastefully intertwined getting turnt and giving to a good cause in the evolving Edgewood corridor of Downtown Atlanta. Robert Owens, CEO/Founder of Party With A Purpose, put together a mobile party aptly called "The Cause Crawl", a unique take on a bar crawl that brought together an energetic crowd of young professionals from all corners of the metro area.

Each of the venues was just as lively as the crowd of participants. The party started at Harold's Chicken & Ice Bar, a little piece of Chicago's famous fried chicken spot in ATL. The drinks were pumping and so was the DJ who got the crowd moving to some not so old-school tunes.

The next stop was the cosmopolitan eatery BQE where the crowd enjoyed the soon to be legendary Chicken & Red Velvet Waffles and lively conversation. This has long-been one of my favorite spots to eat and party because of it's elegantly industrial decor and that beautiful skyline pic of NYC.

Saving the best for last the crowd trekked to the effortlessly classy restaurant Sweet Auburn Seafood where we were presented with a FEAST of their delicious appetizers and complimentary cocktails. The crowd also enjoyed a soul-filled sax ensemble who performed everything from Chaka Khan to Usher. This was definitely the highlight of the evening.

Overall this was my type of fund-raising event. Simple, yet refreshingly sophisticated, like a scotch on the rocks on a hot summer night. I'm looking forward to doing this again in the near future.
